Hi, I’m Charles Hankin, and I started Hankin Construction & Joinery Ltd right here in Seaton, Devon, with one goal in mind: to build and renovate homes with the same care, honesty, and craftsmanship I’d want in my own.
For over 18 years, my team and I have been working across the South West, delivering everything from bespoke kitchens and handcrafted furniture to full home renovations, extensions, and new builds. We’re a close-knit crew of skilled tradespeople who genuinely love what we do — and we’re proud to work alongside some of the best local architects and suppliers in the region.

Federation of Master Builders & Trust Mark Approved
On joining, Master Builder members must have a minimum of 12 months trading, have public and employers liability insurance & pass credit and director checks along with pass an independent inspection (since 2011),
So as a home owner you’re assured of a better result, knowing you’re working with the best builders. Not only that but a further inspection by Trust Mark meaning we are government approved as well. We love what we do and we want that to reflect in our work and ethic.

Project Management
Should you want us to carry out full project management, throughout your project we will make sure that every trade involved is clear with the task ahead, dates set and any extra works quoted if needed. This is to assure that projects run smoothly and on time. We are fully insured with both public liability and contractors insurance through the Federation of Master Builders ensuring you are in safe hands with a team that care about what they do.
